About the Position

LocumJobsNetwork is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Family Practice PA in Oregon!

We are seeking an experienced Family Practice Physician Assistant for a solo, rural locum tenens assignment in Oregon. This 120-day opportunity begins on Oct 27, 2025, with day shifts Monday through Friday from 8am to 7pm. The role involves caring for a diverse, primarily non-English-speaking patient population in a federally qualified health center (FQHC) setting, and is ideal for candidates with a proven background serving rural communities.

Responsibilities and Duties

Provide comprehensive primary care as a solo provider in a rural FQHC

Deliver care to complex patient demographics, including those who do not primarily speak English

Manage a broad range of acute and chronic health conditions across the lifespan

Utilize Epic as the EMR system for all patient documentation

Ensure high standards of patient safety and quality of care

Participate in shadowing and onboarding activities while credentialing and insurance enrollment are in process

Demonstrate prior experience in rural health settings as requested by the client

Additional Information

Minimum 5 years of primary care experience required

Must have active Oregon licensure with no pending malpractice cases

Prior rural health experience is strongly preferred and should be highlighted in your application

Ability to work independently as the sole provider in a rural environment
