HVAC Service Installer

Installing new systems and replacing old by performing the following duties:

Analyzes, plans, and performs installation of HVAC systems.

Removal of old residential HVAC systems.

Orders and maintains parts needed to repair/maintain and install HVAC equipment.

Maintains skill in cleaning, adjusting and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.

Maintains ability to identify and communicate solutions to satisfy customer's needs.

Maintains focus on customer satisfaction, safety and comfort.

Maintains excellent organization, communication.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

2-4 years installs

2-4 years fabricating/metal work

2-4 years troubleshooting voltage issues

Valid driver's license

Recovery machine

Vacuum machine

Power tools

Able to effectively communicate with customer

Being punctual and timely

Good housekeeping and organized

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, use hands, reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to walk, sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, work in high, precarious places. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather), fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather conditions, extreme cold (non-weather), extreme heat (non-weather), risk of electrical shock, work with explosives. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
