The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides direct care to residents under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. CNAs assist with daily living activities and ensure residents’ comfort, safety, and dignity in a skilled nursing facility setting.
Provide hands-on care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
Assist with mobility, positioning, and transferring residents using proper body mechanics and equipment.
Take and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
Observe and report changes in residents' conditions to licensed staff promptly.
Assist residents with meals and ensure proper nutritional intake.
Maintain clean and sanitary resident rooms and common areas.
Respond promptly to resident call lights and needs.
Encourage resident participation in activities and promote independence.
Document care provided according to facility policies.
Follow all infection control, safety, and resident rights guidelines.
Participate in shift reports and staff meetings as required.
High school diploma or GED (required)
Valid and active CNA certification in the state of employment (required)
CPR certification (preferred)
Previous experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility is a plus

Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned tasks
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
Must be able to assist with physical care of residents and operate mechanical lifts
Flexible shifts available: Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends, and Holidays
