Accounts Payable Clerk

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team on a temporary basis in North Canton, Ohio. This role is ideal for individuals with strong organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy. You will play a vital part in ensuring seamless financial operations by handling invoice processing, freight audits, and other related tasks.

Responsibilities :

  • Process accounts payable invoices efficiently and accurately.
  • Conduct freight audits to ensure proper billing and compliance.
  • Prepare and manage vouchers for financial transactions.
  • Perform data entry tasks, maintaining precision and consistency.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize and analyze financial data.
  • Work with Profit 21, a Windows-based system, to support financial operations.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve invoice discrepancies.
  • Maintain records and documentation for audit purposes.
  • Assist in coding invoices and ensuring proper account alignment.

Requirements :

  • Proven experience in handling accounts payable functions.
  • Proficiency in coding invoices and invoice processing.
  • Familiarity with freight bill auditing and voucher preparation.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for data management.
  • Experience with Profit 21 or similar Windows-based systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills for team collaboration.
