Home Health Aide

As a Home Health Aide (HHA), you play a vital role in supporting clients' health, safety, and well-being in the comfort of their own homes. Your responsibilities include:

• Personal Care: Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and other hygiene-related tasks.
• Mobility Support: Helping clients move safely, including transfers from bed to chair, walking assistance, and fall prevention.
• Health Monitoring: Checking vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and reporting changes to a nurse or healthcare provider.
• Meal Preparation: Preparing and serving nutritious meals based on dietary needs and client preferences.
  Light Housekeeping: Performing basic household tasks such as laundry, vacuuming, dishwashing, and tidying up to maintain a clean environment.
• Medication Reminders: Ensuring clients take prescribed medications on schedule (as directed, not administering unless certified and authorized).
• Companionship: Offering emotional support and meaningful conversation to reduce feelings of isolation and promote mental well-being.
• Documentation: Recording daily activities, observations, and changes in client condition according to agency protocol.
