Job Description

The role is located in Midtown and requires 3 days per week in office.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the transaction monitoring team, ensuring accurate and timely review of system generated red flag alerts.
• Act as an escalation point for Transaction Monitoring alert reviews
• Monitor team performance and ensure quality standards are met across the alert reviews.
• Develop and implement metrics, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the transaction monitoring processes.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of analysts, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Continually evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of procedures and internal controls of the bank’s transaction monitoring program and propose enhancements as needed.
• Work with Senior Management to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the transaction monitoring processes through process optimization, automation, and adopting of new technologies.
• Provide support in coordinating remedial measures in response to issues raised in examinations and audits.
