Security Officer - Unarmed Patrols CRE

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, supporting a welcoming environment, and providing exceptional customer service through clear communication. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any security-related irregularities or incidents encountered during patrols to Allied Universal management and / or client representatives.
  • Monitor access points and control entry to designated areas within the location, verifying credentials as required by site procedures.
  • Assist with emergency response activities, including guiding occupants during drills and / or actual emergencies, in accordance with site protocols.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations for review by Allied Universal and / or client representatives.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
