Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

Job Responsibilities :

• Provide skilled therapeutic intervention and services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Follow all regulations and guidelines of facility including compliance with confidentiality and HIPPA.
• Adhere to discussed scheduled hours and conducts self in a professional manner at all times.
• Provide documentation of patient’s condition, and provide caregiver / patient education as appropriate.
• Regularly discuss with supervising Physical Therapist patient’s progress and any concerns or guidance needed.
• Ensure safe treatment practices and monitors patient’s engagement and responses to treatment, modifies as necessary.
