Logistics / Distribution Specialist
JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Logistics / Distribution Specialist to join our growing team.
American Building Supply (ABS), a subsidiary of Jeld Wen, and one of the Nation's largest wholesale suppliers of Doors, Door Hardware, Windows, and Millwork, currently has a position available for Logistics / Distribution Specialist to assist our Distribution division's facility in Denver, CO the positions will be located in Coppell, TX by providing value-added goods and services to our customers.
General Description of Duties :
- Confirm daily order shipments and match orders with delivery tags.
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating job site deliveries and production order flow, ensuring safe and on-time pickup and delivery.
- Distribute and slot tickets as required.
- Provide customer service and support to customers via the phone and email, as well as will-call.
- Communicate customer service needs with drivers, sales, and operations.
- Update scheduling database with ticket details.
- Be main point of contact between fleet manager and all drivers.
- Cover routes due to PTO, PTO sick.
- Cover routes due to high volume for extended period as needed.
- Start is 6 am. Local time.

Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred, but not required.
