Job Title : Sterile Processing Technician

Location : Temple, TX

Employment Type : Full-time Days (36 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities :

• Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment.
• Maintain and operate sterilization equipment including autoclaves, sterilizers, washers, and ultrasonic cleaners.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of sterile supplies.
• Conduct routine checks and maintenance of sterilization equipment.
• Keep accurate records of sterilization procedures and inventory levels.
• Follow all infection control and safety procedures to maintain a sterile environment.
• Collaborate with surgical and medical staff to meet equipment needs.

Qualifications :

• Education : High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Experience : At least 1 year of experience in a sterile processing environment.
• Certification / License / Registration : Must have one of the following certifications :

Certified Board Sterile Processing & Distribution (CBSPD)

• Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST)
• Certified Sterile Processing & Distribution Technician (CSPDT)
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including possible evenings and weekends.
