Cedar Hills has opportunities for Per Diem - Therapists to join our team of great people!

Our current opportunites available:

Inpatient:

Unit Therapist – This position works on the units for patients who are admitted, again for anything from detox to acute psychiatric issues. A unit therapist will run group therapy, meet individually with patients, assist with discharge planning, join treatment team meetings, etc.

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the base rate of pay and minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications

Education: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field required.

Experience: Prefered: one (1) of three (3) years experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills; must have strong clinical assessment skills. New Master's graduates encouraged to apply!

Licensure: Must be state certified in social work or clinical related mental health field. LPC-Associate, LPC, LMSW, Temporary CSWA license or LCSW license required or working to obtain licensure.

Additional Requirements: CPR certification, Handle With Care and Verbal De-Escalation training within days of employment prior to assisting in a restraining procedure. Must be able to pass a competency exam for the area upon hire. May be required to work flexible hours and overtime.
