About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum 2 years of PACU experience

License : Active nursing license in the state of practice

Certifications : BLS, PALS, ACLS

Must-Have : Pediatric recovery experience

Description :

10 days of requested time off (RTO) maximum approved per contract.

RTO is not allowed during the designated time periods.

Candidates must be able to perform preoperative, phase 1, and phase 2 recovery.

Experience with pediatric patients is essential.

Charting system used is Epic.

Candidate must possess skills in various medical procedures and patient care tasks.

No call or weekend shifts required.

Floating is not expected unless staffing needs change.

Candidates must have experience with monitored anesthesia care and medication reconciliation.

Position involves daily management of patients across various age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

Daily patient census will be between 15-20.

Number of patient rooms available is 4.

Additional required skills include airway assessment, IV placement, and pain assessment and management.

Candidates must be familiar with preparing patients for surgery and providing post-operative instructions.

Management of pediatric patients and knowledge of specific medical procedures are necessary.

Applicants who have previously worked for the health system may need to provide previous employment details.

No blocked scheduling requests will be accepted.

Modules are non-billable and factored into the total hours required for onboarding training.

Modules must be completed prior to the start of the position.
