Direct Support Professionals (DSP)

Core Health Provider Services, Inc has multiple employment opportunities for Direct Support Professionals (DSP) in different counties in GA. We are looking for individuals who have a sincere desire to help others. Our mission is to serve Individuals with special needs and their families by providing specialized services, including assistance with ADL’s, tracking goals, and community outings. Supports are individually planned and tailored to meet the specific needs of the individuals we serve. This may include working at multiple homes, locations, and departments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Adheres to assigned schedules and reports to duty for the hours assigned and implements planned schedules and activities
• Supports in activities and companionship services for daily living, such as cooking, bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transferring, and other similar tasks
• Accompanies and transports to participate in visits for recreation, medical and dental care appointments, therapies, personal shopping, and other community activities
• Implement ISP goals
• Assists in creating a physical environment that lends to progress, including house cleaning and laundry

Required Qualifications
The successful Direct Support Professional (DSP)candidate must:
• Be available to work flexible hours, including weekends
• Be flexible, motivated, and self-directed
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have a high school diploma or GED (proof will be required)
• Have dependable transportation, valid driver’s license, and insurance
• Be able to satisfactorily pass a criminal background check
• Provide a clean 7-year driving record with no suspensions due to moving violations in past 3 years
• Must obtain a TB test and have current CPR/First Aid certification

Other Requirements:
• MUST complete required training education to continue professional development.
