Midwest Mechanical Services, a multi-generational family owned and operated business, is looking for a talented and experienced Service Manager to join the team. Midwest Mechanical is a leader in HVAC/R throughout Missouri and Southern Illinois. As we continue to grow our business, we are looking for a Service Manager to manage, grow, and build a solid service department within our organization.

About the opportunity: We are looking for an accomplished and motivated Service Manager to establish and manage a successful commercial service department. As the Service Manager, you will be working closely with technicians to build a service department that focuses on quality, respect, and ingenuity. A successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, organizing, and coordinating all service department responsibilities, including scheduling, prioritizing manpower and materials, as well as meeting all client and company expectations to grow a strong service department.

Skill set:

As the Midwest Service manager, you will:

• Have 5+ years of commercial/industrial HVAC/R experience (with technical degree)
• Have the ability to mentor, coach, inspire and lead the team
• Possess strong, professional communication skills
• Have strong interpersonal skills in management, customer service, and sales
• Be an organized professional who has the ability to hold themselves and their team to a high standard
• Be able to network within the industry in order to facilitate new client contacts, improve existing relationships, and initiate new business consistent with sales goals.
