Treatment Coordinator

Smilebliss is currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Treatment Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, be detail-oriented, and possess strong communication abilities.

Schedule:

• This is a full-time position
• Monday through Friday, 1-2 Saturdays per month
• 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

** Responsibilities**

• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients seeking orthodontic treatment, providing exceptional customer service and creating a positive experience from their initial consultation to the completion of their treatment.
• Effectively communicate treatment options, procedures, and expected outcomes to patients, answering any questions or concerns they may have.
• Collaborate with the orthodontist to present treatment plans and financial options to patients, ensuring they fully understand the investment required and possible payment arrangements.
• Assist patients in navigating insurance coverage and claims, promoting financial transparency and patient advocacy.
• Coordinate scheduling of appointments, collaborating with the front desk team to maintain an organized and efficient appointment schedule.
• Facilitate communication between the orthodontist, staff, and patients, ensuring everyone is updated on treatment progress, follow-up appointments, and any necessary adjustments.
• Regularly follow up with patients to address post-treatment concerns and maintain long-term relationships, fostering a sense of trust and loyalty.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of orthodontic products, techniques, and advancements to provide up-to-date and accurate information to patients.
• Continuously strive to improve patient satisfaction, seeking feedback and implementing suggestions to enhance the overall patient experience.

** Qualifications and Experience**

• Minimum of 1-2 years' experience as an Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator is required.
• In-depth knowledge and understanding of orthodontic treatments, procedures, and dental terminology.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively connect and build rapport with patients of all backgrounds.
• Demonstrated sales experience
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to multitask, and attention to detail.
• Preferred bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with orthodontic software and Google and MS Office Suites.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a cohesive team.
• Compassionate and empathetic personality with a desire to provide exceptional patient care.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and find solutions to challenges that may arise.
• Understanding of dental insurance and financing options, with the ability to explain and navigate these aspects to patients effectively.
