Location : Cerritos, CA (On site) | Type : Full Time | Pay : $24 / hr | Schedule : Monday - Friday

As a Utility Technician with recall duties at Norm Reeves Ford , you will be responsible for supporting various aspects of production and quality assurance, with a specific focus on conducting recall inspections of vehicles. In addition to your PDI responsibilities, you will perform routine maintenance services.

What You'll Do :

• Conduct recalls to ensure they meet Ford's quality standards and specifications.
• Perform visual and functional checks of vehicle components, systems, and features according to established inspection procedures.
• Identify and document any defects, damages, or issues discovered during the inspection process, and coordinate with appropriate teams for resolution.
• Carefully performing oil changes, battery checks, topping off fluids
• Inspecting brake linings and making adjustments if necessary
• Rotating tires and implementing tire repairs according to vehicle standards
• Effectively mounting and balancing tires
• Performing alignment checks
• Conducting multi-point inspections (121-point inspection)
• Assisting in various minor services including software updates, key programming, and replacing windshield wipers
• Performing other duties as needed
