• Unit Manager RN 917Location : Wesley Medical Center Case N Hillside, Wichita, KS 67214Floor : CPCU (3rd), PCU (4th)- step down unitsBuilding : 1General InformationTell us about the unit(s) : Number of Beds -CPCU- 14 beds, PCU- 14 bedsNumber of Staff 1Type of Shift M-F 8-4 : 30Night Shift -Patient Ratios 1 : 14Type of equipment -EMR Meditech and MidasTypical hiring profileSkill Set Most recruited for : (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.RN or Licensed social workerHCA Hospital experiencePreferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.Midas and HCA case management experienceList typical procedures performed on unit(s) : Case management assessmentDischarge planningBest personality , this is a very busy, fast paced environment that is constantly changingUnit Guidelines / feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.Any additional information that would entice a worker to select your unit for their units have consistent physicians and mid-levels to work closely with.CPCU is our cardiac step-down unit and where our CABG and TAVR patients go.There are some post-acute placements but many go home with cardiac rehab.PCU- is a medical step-down unit with a variety of patients.Overall, our case management team is very welcoming, very collaborative and helpful.
