All Novant Health team members are responsible for fostering a safe patient environment driven by the principles of "First Do No Harm". Education : High School Diploma or GED, required. Experience : One year of relevant experience, preferred. Assisted Living facilities only : one year of experience working in long-term care or assisted living, required. Licensure / Certification : Completion of NAI program, required. Listed with the nurse aide registry as an NA I, required. Medication Safety - AME, required. NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required. Additional Skills Preferred : Basic computer skills for documentation.

About the Unit :
- Opening February 2026
- Provides inpatient-level care with ED-style charting
- Offers both variety and consistency no two days are the same, but teamwork keeps the environment steady and collaborative
- A true team-based culture where everyone supports one another and flexes to meet patient needs
- When census is low, CNAs may float to other inpatient or COH units
