Job Description:
If you want to make a significant impact as a Registered Nurse - Operating Room in CHICO, CA this position might be what you are looking for!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for surgery by verifying their identity, surgical site, and procedure. Monitor vital signs and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.
• Assist the surgical team during operations by passing instruments, managing surgical supplies, and ensuring the sterile field is maintained at all times.
• Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operation flow, anticipate needs, and respond to any changes in the patient's condition during surgery.
• Provide immediate post-operative care, monitor patients in the recovery room, and educate patients and their families about post-surgery care, including wound care and potential complications.

Qualifications:

• CA Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications, Certified perioperative nurse (CNOR) certification is preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in operating room environment
