Pain Management Physician Assistant

Description: Physician Assistant needed for comprehensive pain management practice within multi-specialty health care clinic in the Salt Lake City, Utah area.

Primary responsibilities:

• Conduct physical exams, assess health status, order and interprets tests, prescribe medications, and treat injuries and illnesses.
• Consult with physician as needed for more complicated medical cases or cases that are not a routine part of a PA's scope of work.
• Triage and evaluate patient problems.
• Monitor therapies and provide continuity of care.

Expectations for success:

• Bachelor's degree and successful completion of accredited physician assistant program.
• National certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
• Current state PA license.
• Current CPR certificate.
• Neurology/Internal Medicine experience preferred.
• Experience performing procedures preferred.
• Current DEA license.
• Current state controlled substance license.
• New graduates welcome to apply.
