Ready to level up your payroll career? LaSalle Network is partnering with a supportive, high-performing company in Westmont, IL, to hire a Payroll Specialist. This contract-to-hire position pays $55,000-$65,000 annually , depending on experience, and offers a hybrid work schedule with three days per week onsite. If you love numbers, process improvements, and solving complex payroll puzzles, this role was made for you.

Responsibilities :

• Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 1,000+ multi-state employees accurately and on time
• Maintain and update payroll information in Workday, ensuring data integrity and compliance
• Audit and reconcile payroll reports to ensure accuracy of wages, taxes, and deductions
• Handle payroll inquiries from employees in a timely and professional manner
• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure proper processing of new hires, terminations, and pay adjustments
• Assist with quarterly and year-end reporting, including W-2s and tax filings
• Stay current with federal and state payroll laws and regulations
