About the Position

LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Urgent Care MD in California!

We are seeking a Family Practice Physician for a 24-week locum tenens assignment in California, starting Jan 5, 2026. This role features a two-day schedule : Fridays from 8am to 5pm and Saturdays from 10am to 2pm. Candidates must speak Spanish and be paneled with CA Medical and ORP. The ideal provider has experience in rural health, a commitment to preventative care, and an understanding of quality metrics.

Responsibilities and Duties

Deliver primary care following FQHC principles in a rural health setting

Address three or more patient complaints per visit as needed

Implement and monitor preventative care strategies

Apply knowledge of quality metrics to patient care

Communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking patients

Additional Information

Must be licensed to practice in California

Must be paneled with CA Medical and ORP

Spanish language proficiency required

Six-month assignment commitment required
