Oak Grove School District has a total enrollment of over 8,800 students from grades PreK-8. There are 15 elementary schools and 3 intermediate schools, and a TK-8 Virtual Learning (VLA). Five out of nineteen schools receive Title I funds. The size of the school ranges from the highest (750) student enrollment to the lowest (270) student enrollment. About 15% of the District's students are White, 50% are Hispanic or Latino, 24$ are Asian or Pacific Islander, 3% are African American, and 8% identify as two or more races. The percentage of English Learners is 20%, representing 56 languages spoken in the District. Thirty percent of the students qualify for free and reduced-price school lunch. Job Description / Essential Elements: To coordinate and perform responsible clerical and secretarial duties at a school site relieving principal and staff of routine administrative and office management duties. Employees in this classification receive limited supervision from a school administrator within a framework of policies and procedures. Employees in this classification may oversee and coordinate the work of others. This job class exercises initiative and independent judgment in choosing among alternative courses of action to solve routine procedural problems.
