Bidding and Estimating
Bidding
Search for Projects to Bid
Gets Approval from Sr. Estimator / Project Manager on Projects to Bid
Adds all jobs to the bid schedule found (whether bidding or not)
Attends job walks as necessary
Completes Take-Offs for small jobs
All estimates are reviewed and approved by Sr. Estimator / P.M.
Works with Project Accountant to have bid documents completed timely
Any additional tasks related to bidding
Project Execution
Scheduling
Review new projects with Superintendents to understand how the project was bid
Work with Project Engineer / Superintendent on Scheduling and material coordination
Work with Logistics Manager on fabrication scheduling and material coordination
Ensure appropriate work force in the field is present
Ensure 3-Week Look Ahead is accurately maintained
Execution of Work
Verify Material is readily available or scheduled for work completion
Work on Submittals for Projects
Work with Logistics Manager on Equipment use and scheduling
Ensure monitoring of field measurement accuracy
Work with General’s / Owners for installation accuracy
Work with shop to ensure fabricated work is on schedule
Monitor Changes in the field and ensure extras are accounted for
Project Completion
Have accurate knowledge of work completed
Ensure punch list Items are limited as much as possible
Request relief of maintenance whenever possible
Confirm Photos of completed projects have been taken
