We are looking for a compassionate, diligent behavioral health technician to join our team. The main responsibilities are providing clients with the care, support, and supervision they require. Our program consists of transport to and from our facility, group counseling sessions, activities and more. Behavioral Health Technicians are with the clients during the entire program and are an integral part of improving the client's behavioral health.Schedule4-day work week (paycheck rounded up to 40 hours)Monday-Thursday11:30am-9pmSchool Breaks Schedule (Winter, Summer, etc)Monday-Friday9am-7pm(Overtime)ResponsibilitiesCarrying out individual treatment plans prescribed by medical professionals.Transport clients to and from facility in company vehicles.Monitoring clients and recording your observations.Reporting back on each client's progress and concerns.Ensuring clients have a safe and supportive environment.Diffusing situations in which clients wish to harm themselves or others.Providing emotional support to clients.Alerting medical professionals to intervene in emergencies.Carrying out assessments and other administrative tasks.Maintaining strict client confidentiality.QualificationsMust be at least 21 years oldHigh school diploma or equivalentMust be at least 21 years oldExperience working with kids preferredSix (6) months of experience in a healthcare setting OR completion of a related health education certification OR completion of the first semester of courses in a major of an associate or bachelor's degree program in psychology, nursing, counseling, or related field preferredAbility to work individually and in a team environmentExcellent teamwork skills to ensure quality patient careGood Interpersonal and Intrapersonal skillsAbility to work effectively and efficiently in stressful situationsMust be able to treat clients with dignity and empathyStrong listening and communication skillsAbility to respond appropriately to emergency situations
