Surgical Technologist (Travel)

Job Title: Surgical Technologist (Travel) Location: Clackamas, OR - 97015 Contract Length: 3 Months + (Strong potential for extension) Shift: Day Shift | 10-Hour Shifts (3 wk rotation schedule.) Schedule: 11:00 AM – 09:30 PM | 40 Hours/Week (Stipends available above 50 miles) Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain the sterile field, ensuring surgical environments remain compliant with safety and infection-control standards. Anticipate surgeon needs by selecting and passing instruments with accuracy and efficiency during procedures. Assist with room setup, surgical equipment checks, and proper positioning of patients. Perform instrument, sponge, and sharps counts in alignment with OR protocols. Handle specimens correctly and coordinate with the surgical team for proper labeling and transport. Support turnover between cases to keep workflows seamless and on schedule. Participate in rotating on-call coverage (approximately every 3 weeks) to support emergent surgical needs. Collaborate cross-functionally with nurses, surgeons, and anesthesia teams to drive optimal patient outcomes.
