Piper Companies is currently seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician (BMET) to support installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of biomedical equipment working for a reputable Healthcare Institution in Philadelphia, PA.
Responsibilities:
·Participate in the installation, maintenance, calibration, and repair of complex biomedical equipment (anesthesia machines and ventilators, etc)
·Coordinate with other departments and vendors for troubleshooting and installations
·Ensure and verify that medical equipment is operating according to manufacturer’s standards
·Maintain proper work document
Qualifications:
·Associates degree in Biomedical or Electronics Technology or related field
·IT certification, such as networking or A++ required
Compensation:
·$30.00 - $45.00/hour
·Contract to Hire
