A company is looking for a Behavioral Health Physician Advisor (Remote).
Key Responsibilities
Conduct clinical case reviews and medical record reviews for hospital admissions and care management
Participate in discussions with payer physicians to ensure appropriate utilization of hospital services
Provide education and act as a consultant for attending physicians regarding utilization and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
MD / DO, board-certified in Psychiatry
Active Illinois medical license or ability to obtain
5 or more years of Psychiatric Clinical practice experience required
1 or 2 years experience as a Physician Advisor or in a similar role
