[job_card.job_description]High school diploma or GED. At least 4 years of experience as an Electrician in an industrial environment. Journeyman card or Electrical Certification. Solid experience with electrical systems and troubleshooting. Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLC) is a plus! Experience with equipment like electrical switch gear, motor starters, transformers, and more. Skilled in using lifting devices, hand tools, and power tools. Strong problem-solving abilities. English speaking, reading, and comprehension skills. Able to wear all PPE, including steel-toed shoes and safety glasses. Capable of working in varying temperatures both inside and outside. Strong enough to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50+ lbs. Comfortable with climbing, crawling, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching as needed. Must pass a physical and drug test. What You'll Be Up To :
- Keeping our electrical equipment and systems in top-notch shape through preventative maintenance, installations, and repairs.
- Applying your electrical know-how to test and operate machinery and control equipment.
- Handling 480 VAC 3 phase motor control systems like a champ.
- Diagnosing and fixing system malfunctions, from motor-controlled devices to transformers.
- Using your trusty hand and diagnostic tools to test and repair equipment.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area with daily inspections.
- Filling out paperwork accurately and on time.
- Working independently while keeping safety and regulations in mind.
- Communicating any safety or production concerns with the team.
- Cross-training and multitasking across different skills and tasks.
