Encounters Systems Analyst

A company is looking for an Encounters System Analyst.

Key Responsibilities

Compile and analyze Encounter data to assess financial and clinical impacts

Provide analytical support and leadership for Claims Encounters Regulatory Data projects

Review Encounter rejections and resolve data issues while ensuring compliance with CMS and state agencies

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience required

Master's degree in Science / Arts preferred, with a focus on Healthcare Analytics or Data Science

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in managed healthcare, claims, or a regulated environment

Minimum of five (5) years of experience using tools such as SQL, SAS, SSIS, MySQL, ORACLE, R, or PowerBI

Knowledge of claims payment methodologies and encounter regulations
