Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor
Statement of Purpose To perform daily repairs and maintenance on restaurant equipment and property within assigned stores and to ensure timely and accurate completion of Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedules. Ensures food safety standards are met by providing ongoing PM training at the store level.
Accountabilities - Repairs and performs preventative maintenance service and on restaurant equipment and/or property to ensure restaurant personnel provide the highest quality of service to our customers.
- Handles all class one calls timely, accurately and within budget (emergency repair on restaurant equipment and property)
- Performs regular inspections of all assigned restaurants and reports the condition of equipment, property, and overall maintenance status.
- Ensures accurate and timely reporting of invoices, maintenance logs, purchase orders, and other pertinent administrative paperwork necessary.
- Maintains inventory records of store level equipment, spare parts and company owned tools. Provides inventory reports as directed.
- Educates store management personnel on equipment care and use.
- Maintains current service and warranty repair records on all equipment, assets and company maintenance vehicle to prevent unwarranted repairs, expenses or violation of warranties.
- Performs duties as required for new store openings, special events, remodels, and new equipment and initiatives (i.e. new products).
- Performs other job related duties as may be assigned or required.

Knowledge In-depth/complete technical knowledge of HVAC, refrigeration, electrical repair, carpentry, and plumbing. Ability to maintain and repair varied types of electrical, HVAC, and refrigeration equipment, read electrical schematics, understand 3-phase electrical, and use various testing equipment.
Education and/or Experience Three or more years experience repairing and maintaining restaurant equipment and experience that includes HVAC, Refrigeration, Electrical, Carpentry and Plumbing. EPA Universal Certification required. Excellent Driving Record Required.
Work Environment Irregular hours and periodic overtime may be required. Frequent exposure to extreme weather. On call when needed.
Conflict of Interests Maintenance Technicians are not allowed to use Wendy's vehicles, supplies or tools for any non-company related commercial or business activity. The employee is not to accept outside work that causes a conflict of interest or interferes with an employee's performance and/or work schedule with competitors and other Wendy's companies. Other outside work must be approved by the Maintenance Manager.
Company Vehicle Maintenance Good driving record is required. Proper care of company equipment in vehicle is required. Smoking in vehicle is not allowed.
