Home Health: Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (PRN/Part Time) - Fort Myers

Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality and compassionate nursing care to patients in the comfort of their own homes.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health conditions, including physical, emotional, and psychosocial aspects.
- Develop personalized care plans based on patients' individual needs and goals.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform wound care and other nursing procedures as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication administration, and self-care techniques.
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to patient care.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements and evidence-based practices in nursing through continued professional development.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Valid license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Florida.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Registered Nurse.
- Strong clinical knowledge and skills in various areas of nursing, including medical-surgical, geriatrics, and home health.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work independently and make sound nursing judgments.
- Proficiency in documenting patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using electronic medical records (EMR).
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to patients' homes.
