Responsibilities of Cook :

Prepare food according to selected menus and approved recipes.

Complete the preparation of all food items in a timely manner and assure that all foods meet the required serving temperatures

Comply with health, sanitation, safety, and food handling standards.

Adhere to quality and cost containment standards.

Qualifications of Cook :

Previous experience as a cook in a nursing and rehabilitation facility preferred.

Excellent customer service, communication skills, and the ability to multitask.

Ability to operate institutional kitchen equipment.

Knowledge of quantity cooking.
