Summary:

Always Best Care of Greater Bristol is hiring for Caregivers that want to work on the weekend. Shifts will range from 4-12 hours on Saturday and Sunday. Applicants must have at least three years of experience working as a Caregiver and will ideally have worked on the weekend previously. Our Non-Medical Caregivers will report directly to the Staffing / Care Coordinator.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provides daily routine care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Responsible for house maintenance when applicable
• Answer phone calls for clients when necessary
• Converses with patients to provide assurance
• Observes Universal Precautions
• Provides patient transportation to doctor appointments, outside activities and shopping
• Provides patient laundry and linen changes
• Light housekeeping
• Provides medication reminders
• Meal preparation and clean up

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Non-Medical Caregiver required
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license, proof of insurance and reliable transportation
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Must have Cell Phone / Tablet
