[job_card.job_description]Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related field. Familiarity with ISO-9001 and IATF quality systems standards. 1+ years of experience working in manufacturing. Working knowledge of statistical software such as Minitab, Infinity, JMP, or equivalent systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project). Working knowledge of TQ tools such as Brainstorming, Flowcharting, Ishikawa Diagram Analysis, and Affinity Diagrams. Demonstrated knowledge of SPC, DOE, ANOVA, f & t-test analyses, and GR&R. Fully versed in process capability studies. Responsibilities
- Participate in the improvement of the manufacturing process for existing products by conducting studies to stabilize, validate, or improve product and process capabilities.
- Perform capability studies to identify problems, provide solutions and recommendations for improvement, and implement corrective / preventive actions.
- Analyze defective products and processes to determine root causes of defects and provide input on corrective / preventive actions to prevent future failures.
- Perform internal and external audits on products / processes to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Review and approve work instructions, inspection documents, change notifications, and quality alerts.
- Interact with manufacturing, suppliers, and customers to drive improvement activities and ensure product and process meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Lead quality and customer complaint root cause investigations utilizing 8D methodology to resolve quality issues and eliminate problems from re-occurrence.
- Support Engineering in the qualification of new products, processes, and equipment through data collection and analysis.
- Support the implementation of IATF quality systems standards.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $42.00 / hr.
