The SOC Operator supports Strata Clean Energy by identifying, analyzing, and managing incidents affecting company operations, employees, or the brand. This role requires strong problem solving abilities, critical thinking, and attention to detail.

The position follows a 7pm7am schedule on a two week rotation, providing a guaranteed three day weekend each cycle.

The SOC Operator is responsible for monitoring cameras and alarms, dispatching calls, and providing general support to headquarters and field security teams during both routine and crisis situations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Respond remotely to routine and emergency calls, dispatching and notifying police, fire, and EMS for alarm activations and other incidents.
• Maintain accurate daily logs of communications, events, dispatch activity, and visitor tracking for remote sites.
• Report incidents promptly to the security team, including crimes, injuries, and alarm activations.
• Conduct routine system checks to ensure proper operation of CCTV and other security systems.
• Communicate critical information to security management and key partners using established protocols.
• Handle sensitive situations discreetly, maintaining confidentiality and information security related to employee issues, investigations, PR incidents, and emergency contact details.
