Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated General Office Clerk to join our team in Bronx, New York. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail, who can thrive in a fast-paced environment. As part of a long-term contract, you will play a key role in supporting the finance department through a variety of clerical and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Manage high volumes of incoming calls, handling inquiries, taking messages, and redirecting calls as needed.
• Address resident concerns and complaints both over the phone and in-person with professionalism.
• Verify and review tenant data using the Yardi Property Management System.
• Compile shareholder tax information and organize data into spreadsheets for analysis.
• Calculate income surcharges for shareholders based on prior year assessments and apply charges to accounts.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of reports for the finance department.
• Maintain accurate and organized filing systems for records and documents.
• Perform data entry tasks to schedule appointments and track task completion.
• Operate office equipment and complete additional assigned duties as required.• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent customer service abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Bilingual candidates are preferred but not required.
• Experience working with office equipment such as scanners and printers.
• Capability to manage high call volumes and in-person interactions professionally.
• Familiarity with the Yardi Property Management System is advantageous.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds, and work in a physically active environment involving walking, standing, and bending.
