[job_card.job_description]6+ years of experience in Cloud / DevOps Engineering Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Expertise in Kubernetes (GKE) and Docker Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred) Proficiency in CI / CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build) Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or Shell Experience with Linux / Unix environments Knowledge of cloud networking, VPCs, load balancing, and firewalls Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions Excellent problem-solving and communication skills GCP Certifications (Associate Cloud Engineer / Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer) Experience with SRE practices Knowledge of security tools and best practices in GCP Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments

Location : Nashville, TN (Remote) OR Denver, CO
Job Type : Full-Time / Contract ($60 to 65 / hr on W2 – No C2C)
Full time Salary : 100k to 120k Max based on experience
Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled GCP Cloud Engineer – DevOps Engineer to join our team onsite in Nashville, TN . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) while enabling CI / CD automation, infrastructure reliability, and security best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Implement and maintain CI / CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform , Deployment Manager, or similar IaC tools
- Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (GKE)
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security using Cloud Monitoring and Logging
- Collaborate with development teams to support application deployments and cloud-native architectures
- Implement security best practices, IAM policies, and compliance standards in GCP
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues
- Optimize cloud costs, performance, and scalability
- Participate in on-call rotation and production support as needed
