Kuakini Medical Center Description of Position

Receives/obtains specimens from patients for analysis, accessions and processes specimens for in-house analysis or for send-outs to reference laboratories for esoteric testing, maintains inventory of supplies and performs other job duties assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required. Course instruction in chemistry and biology desired. Previous experience and/or training in phlebotomy highly desired; or any combination of education and experience which would provide the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to meet the minimum qualifications to perform the essential functions of this position. Requires approximately two (2) months of training in a clinical laboratory to build skills to a normal productivity level.

Starting Hourly Rate $21.82
