Director of Development

A company is looking for a Director of Development to lead and expand its fundraising efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement short- and long-term fundraising strategies

Strengthen individual giving efforts through donor relationships and targeted appeals

Oversee day-to-day development operations and manage fundraising activities

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and at least 10 years in nonprofit fundraising

Proven track record of securing and growing major gifts from individual donors and foundations

Strong understanding of the organization's issues and donor interests

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Experience in donor cultivation, grant writing, and campaign management
