Are you passionate about animal care, farm safety, and making a real impact on swine health? PIPESTONE is seeking a Swine Health Technician/Auditor to support our farms across Iowa and Missouri. This is a field-based role with purpose: protecting herd health, improving farm safety, and ensuring the highest level of animal welfare.

What You'll Do

• Help protect farms from disease through daily biosecurity checks
• Conduct safety audits of barn personnel
• Complete animal welfare audits at farm sites
• Inspect all structural areas for proper biosecurity
• Verify interior and exterior farm areas meet biosecurity standards (including attic audits, chute management, grounds checks)
• Check facilities for structural issues like back drafts
• Train barn staff on biosecurity, safety, and animal welfare best practices
• Perform truck wash and trailer audits

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ag experience is a plus - but not required! We train the right people.

Work Environment

• Overnight travel required
• On-farm agricultural swine environment
• Hearing protection at times
• Must be comfortable working outdoors and in the elements

Physical Requirements

• Frequent bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling
• Occasional lifting/pulling up to 50 lbs

Additional Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license

• $40,000-$45,000 base salary (depending on experience)
