EDI Integration Engineer

Requirements

5 or more years of experience in healthcare EDI development and 5010 transaction standards.

Proficiency in EDI 837 and 835 transaction set mapping and technical specifications.

Experience with C#, .NET, SQL Server, and LINQ for backend data integration.

Experience in HL7 messaging, 945 and 947 transaction sets, and flat file processing.

Experience with Unix / Linux Red Hat environments and Shell Scripting for automation.

Experience in Managed File Transfer protocols and SSIS for data transformation.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design and implement complex data integration components including EDI mapping and translation.

Configure EDI systems to support core administrative processes and healthcare business requirements.

Develop data transformation rules governing upstream and downstream system impact.

Execute EDI system testing and perform rigorous quality control on data sets.

Resolve code defects and implement corrective solutions for inbound and outbound transaction errors.

Analyze partner requirements to evaluate and modify EDI applications and process maps.

Monitor daily EDI operations and manage the retransmission of corrected outbound documents.
