UI Developer (Contract)

Jackson, MS – onsite or remote with occasional travel

Duration :

6 month contract to hire

Position Overview

Blazor Server Expertise : Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience building applications with Blazor Server.

Design System Experience : Proven track record of working within or building a design system, including component creation and documentation.

UI Fundamentals : Strong grasp of user interface principles, including layout, typography, responsiveness, and accessibility.

Key Responsibilities

Build reusable UI components and patterns using Blazor Server as part of a scalable design system.

Architect and implement the front‑end structure for applications with a focus on usability, accessibility, and performance.

Guide junior designers and developers; provide mentorship and code reviews.

Participate in sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives; ensure alignment with design and development milestones.

Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and external design partners to translate design concepts into functional interfaces.

Contribute to key deliverables including component libraries, documentation, and production‑ready UI modules.

Must‑Have Qualifications

At least 3 years of Blazor Server development.

Experience building or maintaining a design system, including component creation and design documentation.

Strong UI fundamentals : layout, typography, responsiveness, accessibility.

Nice‑to‑Haves

Proficiency in JavaScript for enhancing interactivity and integrating with Blazor.

Experience with automated UI testing frameworks.

Familiarity with RESTful APIs and front‑end integration with backend services.
