Role :

  • Programmer Analyst 3                               Location :  Richmond, VA(Remote) Within 2 hrs drive to Richmond Job ID : 755241   Develop and incorporate business processes to enhance the current applications using Oracle based technologies.
  • Write and modify PL / SQL programs based on the requirements to extract data, integration, schedule jobs, application enhancements.

  • Production support with specific emphasis on the development of changes related to data bound queries, sql tuning, pl / sql enhancements to get improved performance.
  • Develop data interfaces, data transfer, relational diagrams, scheduling and application code management.
  • Collaborate development activities with other team members.
  • Create technical specification and other documents as required.
  • Design, develop and write pl / sql code and enhance application code, tune sql code to get better performance.

Developing relational data models and designs

  • Identify issues with the application data, analyze and apply and provide emergency release and production support.
  • Review application server issues and provide resolution.
  • Write data exchange interfaces, job scheduling
  • Update quality center defects / enhancements including test steps; code changes to build the knowledge base.
  • Collaborate development and integration activities with other team members.
  • Work with business groups, internal-external team to understand requirement to write efficient system programs.
  • Provide support for production application.
  • Good oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Applicants must have strong multitasking capabilities and the ability to work on multiple projects / issues simultaneously in aggressive environment including off hours support.
  • Applicants must have the ability to assess the impact of software upgrades and other environmental changes.
  • Knowledge in software package installation, change management, and testing is preferable.
  • Candidate should be able to translate functional requirement, build relational model and transfer relational model into technical design and application code.
  • Knowledge of the scripting language is highly desirable.
