Job requirements include one or more years' experience within the restoration industry, the ability to work well with peers and customers, effective communication skills, good work ethics, a good driving record, flexibility to work after hours, holidays, and on call, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis, willingness to learn and adapt under varying circumstances, ability to follow instructions and make decisions, ability to use hand tools and electric tools safely and effectively, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to multi-task and prioritize, experience using moisture meters, ability to wear a full body suit, full face respirator and work in confined spaces and hot working environments with limited visibility on occasion, IICRC/WTR certification is a plus, and bilingual is a plus.
Responsibilities include working safely in residential and commercial properties that have been damaged by fire, water, storm, and/or mold, surveying damage within the property, cleaning process for both contents and structural damage, demolition of structural damage to properties through the use of hand and power tools, cleaning up assigned job sites after demolition, performing initial site visits, conducting moisture inspections, setting restoration equipment within guidelines, completing notes of assigned jobs in our primary App (MICA), contacting the customer of assigned jobs with ETA, taking photos of jobs assigned at start, completion, and throughout the process, maintaining assigned vehicles and equipment, unloading and reloading assigned vehicles with equipment, keeping equipment clean and organized in the Warehouse, unloading trash in assigned areas, recording your time and coding it to the job assigned, IICRC certifications (IICRC classes offered from time to time), and assisting in the development of new hires through on the job training.
Required education and experience include a high school diploma or GED required, an associate or bachelor's degree is a plus, and customer service experience is required.
Compensation: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour.
