Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant for our Acute Care Rehab who will embrace our mission to extend Gods care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a COTA you will :

• Assist in providing rehabilitation services for the patients suffering from physical, mental, development problems either congenital or accidental, surgery, etc.
• Monitor the patients and understand their health issues and requirements and make sure that they are provided necessary support.
• Help patients in working through the rehabilitative exercises and treatments as suggested by the occupational therapists.
• Feed the patients, dress them, change their beddings and help maintain hygiene.
• Maintain and order equipment used in the process of treatment and give regular progress report to the doctors.
• Document the progress report of the patients and make necessary changes in the treatment process as suggested by the doctor.

Qualifications Include :

Work Schedule :

Minimum of 2 Saturdays per month, working 8a-430p

Holidays via holiday rotation schedule and minor holidays

This position pays at the per diem rate of $48 / hr

If the salary range is not displayed or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
