Job Duties:

• Hire, train and manage assigned warehouse personnel
• Manage warehouse in all aspects including customer service, accuracy and productivity
• Oversee warehouse scheduling to ensure timely delivery of product
• Coordinate all safety activities for Warehouse staff
• Interface with customers solving discrepancies, problems and creating a cohesive relationship
• Foster and maintain a collaborative relationship with the sales, delivery and customer service departments.
• Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
• Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
• Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
• Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
• Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
• Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
• Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
• Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3+ years of previous management experience in warehouse/distribution environment
• 3+ years of experience in delivery operations
• Experience and knowledge with applicable federal regulations pertaining to the company's business operations including OSHA and DOT regulations.
• Strong computer skills. Previous JD Edwards/ WMS experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, versatility, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work as a team member.
• Must be flexible to work multiple shifts.

• 5+ years management experience in warehouse/distribution environment.
• Previous WMS experience preferred (High Jump a plus).
• Experience and knowledge with applicable federal regulations pertaining to the company's business operations including OSHA and DOT regulations.
• Experience developing and understanding analytical analysis of the procedures of the warehousing and distribution activities.
• Must be flexible to work multiple shifts.
