Job Full Description Job Summary The Inventory Specialist is responsible for tracking, managing, and optimizing inventory levels to ensure accurate stock records and smooth operations. This role plays a key part in preventing shortages, reducing excess inventory, and supporting purchasing.
Key Responsibilities - Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records in inventory management systems
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventories
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and sales teams to forecast inventory needs
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of inventory
- Prepare inventory reports and analyze trends (usage, shrinkage, turnover)
- Assist with receiving, inspecting, and documenting incoming shipments
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards
- Recommend process improvements to improve accuracy and efficiency
Qualifications - High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Previous experience in inventory, warehouse, logistics, or supply chain roles
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with inventory software and basic Excel skills
- Ability to lift and move inventory as required
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Skills - Experience with inventory management systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.)
- Knowledge of inventory control best practices
- Bilingual-Spanish preferred
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
