JOB DESCRIPTION

The Fire Sprinkler System Inspector is responsible for testing, repairing, and inspecting fire protection systems and components to ensure they function properly while accurately documenting any deficiencies. You will provide exceptional service to both internal teams and customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform all services in accordance with manufacturer instructions, industry codes / standards, and company policies.
  • Coordinate inspection schedules with clients as necessary.
  • Document inspections for company and customer records, authorities with jurisdiction, and other required entities.
  • Communicate discrepancies, necessary repairs, and other concerns to both Eagle Fire and customers.
  • Engage in continuous education to maintain necessary certifications and licenses.
  • Prioritize safety by following all company safety policies and procedures, including the authority to halt unsafe practices.
  • Carry out additional related duties as assigned.
  • EXPERIENCE :

  • 4+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • NICET II certification required.
  • Ability to read and interpret diagrams, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Experience in Fire Sprinkler Service / Inspection preferred.
  • Fire Sprinkler Manufacturer's Certifications are a plus.
  • Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing English.
  • Good understanding of fire protection codes and standards.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record for the past 5 years.
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods, lift, crouch, reach, handle, push, and pull.
  • Willingness to travel and stay out of town as required.
  • Proficient in using industry-related measuring instruments and devices.
  • Able to work in extreme temperature conditions.
  • Capable of performing duties in environments with elevated sound levels.
