Position: Nurse Practitioner

Location: Brooklyn, NY
Compensation: $130,000 – $150,000 per year
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule Options: 4 x 10-hour days or 5 x 8-hour days (on-site)

About the Role:

Are you a compassionate and driven healthcare professional looking to make a real impact? We’re seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join a dedicated care team in Brooklyn, NY. This role focuses on evaluating and treating adult patients dealing with substance use disorders in a supportive residential, detox, or rehabilitation setting.

You’ll play a vital role in guiding patients through comprehensive health evaluations, diagnoses, treatment planning, and ongoing care—with a strong focus on dignity, safety, and long-term recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, health histories, and assessments
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians
• Diagnose based on symptoms, history, and clinical findings
• Administer waived testing (urine, glucose, blood work)
• Prescribe medications and non-pharmacological therapies in line with protocols
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and prevention
• Document all treatments and interactions thoroughly and accurately
• Work alongside an interdisciplinary team to support holistic patient care
• Promote patient safety, advocacy, and a nurturing care environment

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in Nursing
• Active NY State RN and Nurse Practitioner License
• DEA License with full prescribing privileges
• NP Certification under § 6910 and § 6902.3b of the NY Education Law
• BLS Certification (Basic Life Support)
• At least 1 year of relevant clinical experience
• Compliance with NY Department of Drug and Alcohol Program requirements
